NewThe juris connector

Mauritian law, inside the AI you already use.

Add juris to Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot, and work with it in Word and Chrome. Your assistant searches Mauritian legislation and case law, reads the whole judgment, checks every citation and counts a deadline, and every passage it uses comes with its source and its status.

Where it works

One juris account, in every app you work in

The same Mauritian law, the same tools and the same daily allowance, wherever you sign in with it.

The juris agent in Copilot Chat, with clickable citations and their sources.

Add-in

Word

The juris pane beside your draft. Ask, then insert the answer with its citations as footnotes. Check every citation in the document: juris comments on any it does not hold and never changes your text.

Word on the web and on Windows. Any Microsoft account, no Copilot licence needed.

Extension

Chrome

juris in Chrome's side panel. Check page finds every citation on the page you are reading and marks the ones juris holds. Select a passage and ask juris about it.

Only a question you type, a passage you send or the citations it finds leave the page, never the page itself.

What your assistant can do

The whole Mauritian record, one question away

Legislation, judgments from the Supreme Court to the District Courts, tribunal decisions and subsidiary instruments, read from the index juris answers from.

Search the law

The passages that answer the question, ranked, each with its status: in force, repealed, amended later, or the newest version of a provision first.

Read the whole document

Not a snippet: the full text of a judgment or an Act, page by page, so your assistant can read what the court actually said.

Open an Act's outline

The sections of an Act in order, with the ones later Acts inserted, so a citation lands in its context.

Check citations and quotes

Is "2015 IND 8" a real judgment juris holds? Up to a hundred citations are checked at once, and a quote is matched word for word against the text juris holds.

Count a deadline

Appeal and notice periods from the rulebook juris keeps, counted to a date, with the provision they come from.

Ask juris itself

Hand the question to juris and get juris's own answer back: written from Mauritian law, every citation checked, and never a prediction of how a case will end.

Also: browse the catalogue, open a document's details, list deadline rules, see your allowance for the day, and see what juris holds and what it does not.

Built to be relied on

Sources your assistant cannot quietly invent

Every passage carries its status

An Act that was repealed says so. A provision rewritten by a later Act arrives with the newer text first. A 2018 consolidation is dated. Your assistant sees it before it writes a word.

Read-only, and never a prediction

juris can only be read from, never written to. It gives legal information, not advice, and it never says whether a case will be won or lost.

We count calls, not questions

juris records how many times your account used each tool, for your allowance. It never stores what you asked. In Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot your question passes through Anthropic, OpenAI or Microsoft before it reaches juris.

Your document and your page stay yours

In Word, juris inserts only when you press Insert, as tracked changes, and its citation check only adds comments. In Chrome, it sends the citations it finds or what you choose to send, never the page, and leaves no mark behind.

Plans

Choose how much juris does for you

Every plan works in every app above, with the same tools and the same sign-in. They differ in how much you can search and read each day, and how many of juris's own answers you get. We email you the plans and prices when you request access.

Before you connect

Which apps does it work with?
Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, and Claude Code. ChatGPT on the web. Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat through the juris agent, with a work or school account. Word on the web and on Windows, and Chrome. Mistral's Le Chat, Perplexity and Cursor also work with juris.
Do I need Microsoft 365 Copilot to use juris in Word?
No. The juris pane in Word is its own add-in and works with any Microsoft account, with no Copilot licence. The juris agent runs in Copilot Chat, which comes with Microsoft 365 work and school plans at no extra cost.
Is this legal advice?
No. juris supplies the law and its sources. When your assistant writes the answer, it is the author of what it says, so check the sources it cites. For advice on your matter, speak to a lawyer.
What happens to my questions?
Your assistant sends juris the search it needs. juris answers and keeps only a count of calls per tool against your account. Your conversation itself stays with Anthropic, OpenAI or Microsoft, under their terms. The Word pane and the Chrome extension send juris only what you ask or choose to send.
How much does it cost?
Request access below and we email you our plans and prices. Your Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft plan is billed separately by its provider.
