170. Right to peaceful demonstration—The right to hold a peaceful demonstration to raise the consciousness of one’s countrymen is a fundamental right
which, however, cannot be exercised at any place, any time or for any length
of time. In the particular circumstances, a sit-in can take place only on the offside pavement opposite Rogers House between the bridge and Dr Ferrière
Street, from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm only, and the demonstrators should not exceed 50 people who should sit-in peacefully and in an orderly fashion. Michel v
