24. Where a member of a Disciplined Force is serving on a contract or
agreement and is willing to engage for a further period of service, the responsible officer shall forward to the Secretary, 6 months before that member is due to proceed to leave on the expiration of his contract or agreement,
a notification of the date of the expiration of the contract or agreement and
his recommendation whether it should be renewed or not.
