300. Amendment of Ordinance incorporated in – Revised Edition before coming into force—Where, before the coming into force of the Revised Edition of the Ordinances, a section was added to an Ordinance which was later incorporated in a chapter of the Revised Edition. HELD the section so added formed part of that chapter, and a person was, in respect of a breach of that section, rightly prosecuted before a Bench of Magistrates, as the Courts Ordinance, as amended by section 16 of the Courts (Amendment) Ordinance, 1954, made any offence against the provisions of that chapter cognisable by a Bench of Magistrates.
