3. An enforcing agency shall in respect of its sphere of responsibility—
(a) assist in and supervise the enforcement of—
(i) national standards and regulations on dangerous chemicals; and
(ii) any order and notice issued under this Act;
(b) verify compliance with this Act;
(c) conduct such inspection, monitoring, sampling and testing so as to
ensure compliance with this Act;
(d) provide such assistance as may be required for assessing classification,
labelling, safety data sheets and substitution, and intervene in case of
a spill or emergency caused by or involving dangerous chemicals;
(e) carry out directions issued by the Minister on the recommendation of
the Dangerous Chemicals Advisory Council.
