Section 62: Duties of Operator

62. Duties of Operator The duties of the Operator shall be to— (a) devise and operate lottery games authorised under this Act in accordance with such rules as the Board may approve; (b) — (c) pay all prizes; (d) pay such proportion of the net proceeds from lottery games to the Director-General in accordance with the terms and conditions of the licence; (e) perform all other duties necessary for the successful operation of the Mauritius National Lottery, including the establishment of, and operating as the fiduciary custodian without proprietary rights in, a Prize Fund Account into which shall be paid the gross proceeds, and out of which shall be paid all prizes; and (f) organise, initiate, supervise and administer the operation of the Mauritius National Lottery relating to the categories of lottery games and the conduct of the games pursuant to this Act.
