17. Exemption from duties and fees
Where the Court grants legal aid or legal assistance under this Act, the applicant shall
not, in the proceedings to which his application relates, be liable to pay any sum payable
under any enactment relating to stamp duty, registration dues, usher’s fees, witnesses’ fees
or court fees.
