2. Eligibility to stand as candidate
No person shall be eligible to stand as candidate for election as a member
unless, on nomination day—
(a) he is a professional land surveyor;

(b) (i) he is not subject to any investigation;
(ii) no disciplinary proceedings are being held against him
under section 27; and
(iii) no disciplinary measure has been taken against him during
the last 5 years preceding the nomination.
