39L. Form of supplementary register
(1) Every part of a supplementary register shall be as
set out in Form A of the Schedule.
(2) Subject to subsection (3), the names in each part of the
supplementary register shall –
(a) be classified in alphabetical order or in such
other manner or order as may be prescribed; and
(b) as far as is reasonably practicable, be numbered
consecutively.
(3) There shall be a distinguishing letter for each part of
a supplementary register and the distinguishing letter shall form part
of the elector’s number in the supplementary register.
