37. Point of order
(1) Any member infringing the provisions of these Orders shall be immediately called to order by the Chairperson or by Member rising to a point of order.
(2) A Member rising to a point of order shall direct attention to the point he
desires to bring to notice to the Chairperson.
(3) When the point of order has been stated, the Member who raises it shall
resume his seat, and no other Member, except with the leave of the Chairperson,
shall rise until the Chairperson has decided the point.
(4) The Chairperson, whose decision shall be final, may reserve such decision under subsection (3) to a later stage of the proceedings or another sitting.
(5) No debate shall be allowed on a remark which has been ruled out of order by the Chairperson.
(6) The Chairperson shall be responsible for the observance of the rules of
order in the Assembly or in any Committee thereof and his decision upon any
point of order shall be final.
