50. Printing of Bills
(1) The Clerk shall be responsible for the printing of a Bill from the draft
handed over to him by the Member in charge of the Bill, and he shall satisfy himself that—
(a) the Bill is divided into clauses numbered consecutively;
(b) a title for each clause is printed before each clause, and
(c) the provisions of the Bill do not go beyond its long title.
(2) Every Bill published shall be accompanied by a printed statement signed
by the Member in charge of the Bill. Such statement shall state fully the objects
of and the reasons for the Bill. Where a Bill amends the whole or part of a section of an Act already in existence, the relevant part of such section shall be set
out in full.
