27. Execution of documents
(1) Subject to subsection (2), no deed, instrument, contract or other
document shall be executed or signed by or on behalf of the Université des
Mascareignes unless it is signed by the President, or in his absence, by a
member elected by the Board.
(2) No cheque shall be signed by or on behalf of the Université des Mascareignes unless it is signed by the—
(a) President or, in his absence, by a member elected by the Board;
and
(b) Director-General, or in his absence, by the officer appointed to
act on his behalf.
