17. Head of Research, Consultancy and Innovation
(1) The Board shall, on such terms and conditions as it may determine, appoint a Head of Research, Consultancy and Innovation on the recommendation of
the Staff Committee.
(2) The functions of the Head of Consultancy Services shall be to—
(a) implement and assist in the development of the consultancy and
technology transfer of the Université des Mascareignes;
(b) work closely with the academic and other units for the marketing of
the skills and expertise of the Université des Mascareignes;
(c) communicate the skills and expertise of the Université des Mascareignes to industry, commerce and public sector agencies.
