140. Management shall ensure that fair and effective arrangements exist
for dealing with disciplinary matters. These shall be agreed upon with the trade
unions concerned and shall provide for full and speedy consideration by management of all the relevant facts. There shall be a formal procedure, except in
very small establishments where there is close personal contact between the
employer and his workers.
