11B. Administration of Responsible Gambling and Capacity Building Fund (1) The Responsible Gambling and Capacity Building Fund shall be administered by a Managing Committee which shall consist of a chairperson and not more than 4 other persons, to be appointed by the Board after consultation with the Minister. (2) The Managing Committee shall hold its meetings at such time and place as the Chairperson may determine. (3) The Managing Committee shall regulate its meetings and proceedings in such manner as it may determine. (4) Notwithstanding subsections (2) and (3), the Managing Committee shall, where required by the Minister or Board – (a) furnish information in respect of its activities; and (b) comply with such directions of a general character as the Minister or Board considers necessary in the public interest. (c) in section 28 – (i) by inserting, after subsection (2), the following new subsection – (2A) A gaming machine operator shall not carry out, or cause to be carried out, any other business activity at the place where he operates gaming machines. Acts 2016 215 (ii) by repealing subsection (3) and replacing it by the following subsection – (3) A gaming machine – (a) may be installed only at such place as the Board may approve and it shall not be transferred to any other place without the prior approval of the Board; (b) shall not be replaced without the prior approval of the Board.
