11C. Horse Racing Fund
(1) The Authority shall set up a Horse Racing Fund –
(a) into which shall be paid –
(i) such fee, as approved by the
Board, payable by the horse racing
organiser for dissemination of race
images abroad; and

(ii) such fee, as approved by the Board,
payable by licensees;
(b) out of which shall be paid such sums,
as approved by the Board, for –
(i) the payment of laboratory services
for the testing of equine blood,
urine and other samples;
(ii) expenditure relating to the
production of horse race images
locally;
(iii) insurance cover for local jockeys,
including local apprentice jockeys
and trackwork riders; and
(iv) the development of horse racing
and protection of the public in
relation to risks inherent to horse
racing.
(2) The Horse Racing Fund shall be administered by
the Board.
