36. Betting on horse races conducted by totalisator
operator and its agents
No betting on horse races shall be conducted by a totalisator
operator and its agents except in accordance with the approved
totalisator rules and any amendment made thereto.
(y) in section 37 –
(i) by inserting, after the words “Every totalisator
operator”, the words “and its agents”;
(ii) by deleting the words “at the premises” and replacing
them by the words “at the premises and on their
websites”;
(z) in section 38, in subsection (1) –
(i) by inserting, after the words “Every totalisator
operator”, the words “and its agents”;
(ii) by adding the following new paragraph, the full stop
at the end of paragraph (c) being deleted and replaced
by the words “; and” and the word “and” at the end of
paragraph (b) being deleted –
(d) seek prior approval of the Board
for the transfer of the place where
his terminals are installed and, for
that purpose, make an application
and pay the non-refundable
processing fee specified in Part I
of the Sixth Schedule.
