7. Election of the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson
(1) No business shall be transacted in the Assembly, other than the election
of a Chairperson, at any time when the Office of Chairperson is vacant.
(2) The Assembly shall—
(a) at its first sitting after any ordinary election; and
(b) if the Office of the Chairperson becomes vacant at any time before
the next dissolution of the Assembly, at its next sitting after the occurrence of the vacancy.
