57. As far as is consistent with operational efficiency and success of the
undertaking, management shall—
(a) provide stable employment, including reasonable job security for
workers who are absent due to illness or other causes beyond their
control; and
(b) avoid unnecessary fluctuations in the level of earnings of workers.
