4. When Insolvency Service may omit, remove, restrict access to, or amend,
information contained in public registers
(1) The Director may omit, remove, or restrict access to information contained in a public register in respect of a person if the Court on the application of
that person or the Director considers that the disclosure of the information via
the public register would be prejudicial to that person’s safety or the safety of
his family.
(2) The Director may amend the information contained in a public register in
order to update the information or correct any error in, or omission from, the information.
(3) The Director may refuse to provide access to any information in a public
register if, in the Director’s opinion, it is impractical to provide the volume of information requested.
