8A. Where the land conversion is effected pursuant to section 29 (1) (a) (xvii)
to (xx) and the setting up or construction, as the case may be, does not start
within a period of 6 months from the date of issue of the Building and Land Use
Permit in relation thereto under the Local Government Act, the authority for land
conversion granted shall lapse automatically.
