Written complaint to the Equal Opportunities Commission
To: The Equal Opportunities Commission
When to send it
The Act requires the complaint to be in writing and to set out the details of the alleged act of discrimination. This skeleton gives it that shape.
What it does not do
This letter does not assert that discrimination occurred as a matter of law. It sets out what you say happened, which is what section 28 asks for.
What you fill in
- Your full name
- Who you are complaining about
- Date of the act complained of
- What happened, in detail
- On what ground you say you were treated differently
