136. Disputes are broadly of 2 kinds— (a) disputes of rights (i.e. as to legal rights), which relate to application of existing collective agreements or contracts of employment; and (b) disputes of interests (i.e. economic disputes), which relate to claims by workers or proposals by management about terms and conditions of employment.
