It is made by iSlayer Consultancy Ltd in Port Louis. It gives legal information. It is not a law firm, it does not give legal advice, and it never predicts how a court will decide a case.
How it answers
Ask a question in plain words. juris searches its Mauritian corpus, then answers from what it found and quotes it. When it cannot find support for a claim it does not make the claim. Every legislative source carries its status, and juris says when it cannot confirm that a text is the law in force today.
You can ask in English, French or Kreol Morisien. English and French are the languages the corpus and the answers are strongest in. Kreol is offered as a beta.
Who it is for
Anyone with a legal question: a tenant, an employee, a buyer, a small business. The guides walk through common problems step by step. A practitioner product for law firms, with case preparation tools, runs on the same engine.
