42. Powers of Court
Where a person is convicted of an offence under this Act, the Court may,
in addition to any penalty imposed on the owner —
(a) order the euthanasia of an animal involved in the commission of
the offence;

(b) order the owner of the animal involved to be disqualified, for a
period not exceeding 2 years, from owning an animal; and
(c) make such other order as regards an animal in the custody of the
DVS as it considers necessary.
