Section 50: Automated teller machines

50. Automated teller machines (1) Where any bank sets up automated teller machines for the use by customers to make deposits or cash withdrawals, it shall, notwithstanding section 7 (7), inform the central bank accordingly. (2) Where a bank sets up automated teller machines, it shall provide security for their operation, and systems for customer authentication, terminal receipts and periodic statements and for physical and logical protection against unauthorised access in any form.
