Section 130: Effect of order annulling adjudication

130. Effect of order annulling adjudication (1) (a) Where an adjudication is annulled under section 129, all sales and disposition of property and payments duly made, and all acts done, by the Official Receiver, the trustee, or other person acting under their authority, or by the Court, shall be valid. [Issue 1] B4 – 46 Revised Laws of Mauritius (b) The property of the debtor who was adjudged bankrupt shall vest in such person as the Court may appoint, or, in default of any such appointment, revert to the debtor on such terms and subject to such conditions as the Court may declare by order. (2) An order of the Court annulling an adjudication in bankruptcy shall be published in the Gazette and notice of the order shall be published in 3 daily newspapers.
