141. Creditor’s fraudulent acts Where any creditor, or any person claiming to be a creditor, in any bankruptcy proceedings, wilfully and with intent to defraud makes any false claim, or any proof, declaration or statement of account which is untrue in [Issue 1] B4 – 54 Revised Laws of Mauritius any material particular, he shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year.
