146. Powers of Superintendent of Police
(1) In cases of urgency, where immediate action appears necessary, the
Superintendent of Police of the district may do any or all the things which a
Magistrate is empowered to do under section 145.
(2) Any action taken under subsection (1) by the Superintendent shall
within 24 hours be brought to the notice of a Magistrate who may confirm,
amend, or set it aside.
