38. Rules when security is mortgaged
(1) Security by mortgage shall consist of an inscription upon an immovable property to be valued by an appraiser appointed by the Attorney-General
and to be paid by the broker.
(2) The security in the case of a first class broker shall be of 12,000 rupees and, in the case of a second class broker, of 4,000 rupees in either
case to be subject to the acceptance of the Attorney-General and notified to
the corporation.
