16. Nature of compensation
(1) Subject to section 17, an interested person shall be entitled to
compensation—
(a) for loss sustained as a result of an act or omission under section 4;

(b) for the value of his interest in property compulsorily acquired;
(c) for any other loss sustained as a result of the compulsory
acquisition.
(2) The value of any interest in the property shall be the amount which
that interest if sold on the open market by a willing seller might be expected
to realise at the date of the vesting of the property.
