3. Application of Act
(1) Subject to this section, this Act shall apply to the Island of Mauritius.
(Subsec. (1) came into operation on 1 January 2012.)
(2) (a) No person, other than a land surveyor, shall survey a plot of land
in Rodrigues or part of Mauritius other than the Island of Mauritius.
(Subsec. (2) (a) came into operation on 1 January 2012.)
(b) A survey under paragraph (a) shall be conducted in such manner
as may be prescribed.
(Subsec. (2) (b) came into operation on 1 July 2013.)
(3) The President may, by Proclamation, declare that this Act shall
extend, with such modifications and adaptations as may be appropriate, to
any part of Mauritius other than the Island of Mauritius.
(Subsec. (3) came into operation on 1 January 2012.)
