Section 17: Regulations

17. Regulations (1) The Minister may make such regulations as he thinks fit for the purposes of this Act. (2) Any regulation made under subsection (1) may— (a) amend the Schedule; (b) make such provision as may be necessary or expedient to remove any difficulty which arises in giving effect to this Act; (c) provide that a provision of the Insurance Act or the relevant Acts shall be applicable to such categories of captive insurance business as the Minister may, in consultation with the Commission, determine; (d) provide for— (i) norms and standards that will be applicable to any category of captive insurance business; (ii) any restriction to the business or activity of any category of captive insurance business; or (iii) such other matter as may be required for attaining the purposes of this Act.
