13. Powers of investment of Board
(1) The Board may, with the permission of the Minister to whom
responsibility for the subject of finance is assigned—
(a) invest any money which is not immediately required to be expended
in the meeting of any obligations or the performance of any
functions of the Board in any investments, securities or loans as
the Minister to whom responsibility for the subject of finance is
assigned may approve;
(b) realise any investments, securities or loans under its control in
order to finance its operations or for the purpose of reinvestment
under this section.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), the Board may, without the approval
of the Minister to whom responsibility for the subject of finance is assigned,
deposit money with a bank licensed under the Banking Act.
