12. Revocation of option
(1) Any associate who has elected to be governed by the provisions of
the Widows’ and Orphans’ Pension Fund Act and who is still in the public
service may on or before 30 June 1988 apply in writing to the Board to set
aside the option.
(2) The Board may grant or refuse to grant the application.
(3) Where the Board grants the application, the associate shall be deemed
to be governed by this Act as from the date of the granting of the application.
