20. Amount of adjustment contribution (1) The adjustment contribution shall be an amount representing the aggregate amount of the contributions which would have been payable in respect of a non-contributory period computed on the monthly salary drawn by the contributor during the non-contributory period at the rate specified in the First Schedule. (2) The Board may, by notice in writing and within the time specified, require any contributor who has made a declaration in accordance with section 19 (1) (a) to furnish such information as may be necessary for the computation of the adjustment contribution. [Issue 5] C23 – 10 Revised Laws of Mauritius (3) Where a contributor refuses or fails to comply with any notice issued under subsection (2), the Board shall determine the adjustment contribution in such manner as it thinks fit.
