62. Fees
(1) (a) The fee specified in item 1 of the Schedule shall be paid to the
Registrar of Civil Status or any District Court Cash Office.
(b) The fee specified in item 2 of the Schedule shall be paid at the
time the application is made under section 55.
(c) The fee collected under paragraph (b) shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund.
(2) —
(3) The Minister may remit the fee payable for any change of name
where he is satisfied that the person who applies for the change of name is
unable to pay the fee.
