64. Offences by authorised persons
Any authorised person who makes an entry on a loose sheet or registers a
marriage otherwise than in conformity with this Act shall commit an offence
and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 2,000 rupees and
to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years.
