11. Trial licence
(1) No person shall conduct or cause or permit to be conducted a clinical
trial unless he is—
(a) the holder of a trial licence; or

(b) an investigator acting on behalf of a sponsor who is the holder
of a trial licence,
in relation to that clinical trial.
(2) No person shall conduct or cause or permit to be conducted a clinical
trial except in accordance with the terms and conditions of a trial licence.
