24. Register of members
(1) Every society shall keep and maintain up to date a register of
members and a register of shares which shall be prima facie evidence of—
(a) the date on which the name of a person was entered in the
register as a member;
(b) the date on which a person ceased to be a member;
(c) the name of a nominee; and
(d) the number of shares by category held by each member.
(2) Every member shall, on payment of the amount due by him in respect
of the shares, be issued with a share certificate.
