68. Seizure of property
(1) The Registrar shall, where he has reasonable ground to believe that—
(a) any document relating to a society is likely to be suppressed,
tampered with or destroyed; or
(b) the property of a society is likely to be misappropriated or
destroyed,
apply to the Magistrate of the district in which the society has its registered
office for a search warrant.

(2) The Magistrate may, on an application made under subsection (1),
issue a warrant authorising a police officer to—
(a) enter any premises where any document or property referred to
in subsection (1) is to be found; and
(b) seize any such document or property and deliver it to the
Registrar for safe custody.
