84. Co-operative Tribunal
(1) There shall, for the purposes of this Act, be a Co-operative Tribunal
which shall consist of—
(a) a Chairperson who shall be a law practitioner of not less than 10
years’ standing, to be appointed by the Attorney-General, after
consultation with the Minister; and
(b) 2 other persons having wide experience in the field of cooperative matters, to be appointed by the Minister.
(2) There shall be a secretary to the Tribunal, who shall be a public
officer, for—
(a) keeping a record of the proceedings of the Tribunal;
(b) keeping in safe custody the papers and documents of the
Tribunal.
(3) The Minister may co-opt any other person who may be of assistance
in relation to any matter before the Tribunal.
(4) The Chairperson and members referred to in this section shall be
appointed on such terms and conditions as the Minister may determine.
