243. Inspectors appointed in other countries
Where—
(a) under a corresponding law of another country, an inspector has
been appointed to investigate the affairs of a corporation; and
(b) the Registrar is of the opinion that, in connection with that
investigation, it is expedient that an investigation be made
in Mauritius,
the Registrar may, by public notice, direct that the inspector so appointed
shall have the same powers and duties in Mauritius in relation to the investigation as if the corporation were a declared company.
