89. Notice of refusal to enter transfer in register
Where a company refuses to register a transfer of any share, debenture or
other interest in the company, it shall, within 28 days of the date on which
the transfer was delivered to it, send, to the transferor and transferee, a
notice of the refusal and, in the case of a public company, the reasons for
the refusal shall be given in the notice.
