19. Jurisdiction
(1) Notwithstanding any other enactment, the Intermediate Court shall
have jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act or any regulations made
under it and may, on conviction, impose any penalty or forfeiture provided
for under this Act.
(2) The Intermediate Court shall also have jurisdiction where the act constituting an offence under this Act has been committed outside Mauritius—
(a) on board a Mauritian ship; or
(b) on board an aircraft registered in Mauritius.
