7. Power of search
(1) An authorised officer may, at all reasonable times and on showing his
certificate of authority, enter any trading premises for the purposes of ensuring that this Act is being complied with.
(2) Where an authorised officer has reasonable grounds for suspecting
that there has been a contravention in relation to any goods, he may—
(a) inspect the records of such goods and seize them, if necessary;
(b) take a sample of the goods.
