104. Making false acknowledgment
Any person who, without lawful authority or excuse, the proof of which
shall lie on him, makes, in the name of any other person, an acknowledgement of liability of any kind or of a deed or other instrument before a Court
or person lawfully authorised to take the acknowledgement, shall commit an
offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to penal servitude for a term not
exceeding 10 years.
