Section 234: Castration

234. Castration (1) Any person guilty of the crime of castration, or amputation or destruction of any organ necessary to generation, shall be punished by penal servitude. (2) Where death has ensued therefrom, the offender shall be punished by penal servitude for life or, where the Court is satisfied that compelling reasons exist which justify the imposition of a lesser sentence and has specified the reasons on the record of the proceedings, for a term not exceeding 60 years.
