287B. Penalty for seditious publication
Every person who commits an offence under section 286, 287 or 287A—
(a) shall not be prosecuted except upon an information by the Director of Public Prosecutions;
(b) shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 100,000
rupees and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years.
