116. Court adjourning trial
(1) Where the trial cannot be concluded in one day, the Court may adjourn to the next morning or a subsequent day and so on from day-to-day.
(2) Where a trial is adjourned, the Judge may, if the offence with which
the prisoner is charged is not one punishable by penal servitude for life, allow
the jury to separate at any time before it has begun to consider its verdict.
